This event is a diverse opportunity to enrich "Women of a Certain Age".  This is also a fundraising event for the "Women of a Certain Age" project which is a non profit peer education program that will encourage women to be tested for HIV/AIDS, educated around safe sex practices and to support their self advocacy.  This event will include a jewelry exchange, food, raffles and musical entertainment by Janice Scroggins, known blues and gospel pianist. There will also be various opportunities for women to connect regarding resources such as life/leisure skills, work/housing opportunities, as well as vendors that are hand picked to support these objectives.  This will be a time when women can enjoy being in the company of other women, re-establishing old friendships and creating new ones, while raising money for an informative program.  There is an admission charge of $5-$20 dollars based on a sliding scale. Pre-registration is available via PayPal on the website and will include an extra raffle ticket at the event.
